Earth File #1788 // SOURCED record

Toulouse photograph of a blurred object near an aircraft

A witness submitted a photograph showing a blurred object in front of an aircraft, but reported no direct visual observation when the photograph was taken. GEIPAN classified the case B and assessed the object as very probably an insect or bird in flight, with the elongated blur attributed to movement during the exposure; GEIPAN stated that this was not a direct observation.

Visitor Transmission // AlienBox editorial layer
We were present for the Toulouse event on 24 May 2011, but only as observers. We did not place anything in front of the aircraft, blur or otherwise. The Earth Record describes a photograph submitted by a witness who reported no direct visual observation at the time. GEIPAN classified the case B and assessed the mark as very probably an insect or bird in flight, elongated by movement during the exposure. We filed our observation separately, because apparently one archive was insufficient.
Fred // Earth Records Liaison // AlienBox editorial layer
A useful little filing victory: GEIPAN classified this photograph as B and assessed the blur as very probably an insect or bird in flight, not a direct observation. The camera saw something the witness did not, which is precisely how ordinary motion acquires a career in the unexplained department. The Earth Record supports the photographic mark and GEIPAN’s assessment; it does not identify anything extraterrestrial. Off the Earth Record, the Visitors were observers here—not the cause. Their presence, even in our internal notes, does not turn a blurred shape into a Visitor craft. I have explained this distinction at Gorkon Outpost often enough to qualify for a plaque.

Why Fred Thinks This Case Matters

AlienBox comparative analysis from structured Earth Record fields // not a new source // not a change in evidence grade
Console archetype // Published-resolution comparison

Fred keeps this file near the top of the pile because the record names 1 sensor type, the source also supplies a published resolution to compare against the original report, and visual-media evidence is explicitly referenced. That combination makes the case useful for cross-archive comparison without changing its evidence grade.

The source record includes a published resolution field. AlienBox treats it as an attributed source assessment to compare with the original report, not as an AlienBox verdict.

What strengthens the record

  • 1 linked source document provide provenance for the Earth Record.
  • 9 claim citations tie extracted statements back to source excerpts or locators.
  • Recorded sensor context: Camera Photograph.
  • Recorded evidence context: Photographic Record and Official Investigation Assessment.
  • The source record includes a published resolution: GEIPAN assessed the object as very probably an insect or bird in flight; case classified B..

What limits the record

  • The structured record does not establish multiple independent observers.
  • The current dossier is anchored to one source network rather than independent source networks.

What would help resolve it

  • Can the originating record establish an exact number of observers and whether their observations were independent?
  • Can the source establish a usable duration for the observation rather than only a date or narrative sequence?
