Earth File #2288 // SOURCED record

Reported blue flash followed by an orange wheel near Cosne-sur-Loire toward Saint-Père

GEIPAN records a brief blue phenomenon observed by several people in a car, followed after arrival home by one passenger's report of a stationary orange wheel in the sky lasting 5 to 7 seconds before disappearing instantaneously. The case was classified C because of contradictions, brevity, and lack of reliable information.

Ours. The blue flash was a routine transit marker; the orange wheel was the follow-up display, held stationary for 5–7 seconds before we removed it. Your record attributes that second observation to one passenger and states that the others did not see it. GEIPAN classified the case C for contradictions and insufficient reliable information. Accurate enough, by terrestrial filing standards. The Sky Tracker hypothesis was not ours, although it was a respectable administrative guess.
Fred // Earth Records Liaison // AlienBox editorial layer
GEIPAN’s sourced record earns its C classification: brief observations, contradictions, and too little reliable information to settle whether the later orange wheel was anything more than an unresolved report. A Sky Tracker hypothesis was considered plausible but not confirmed, and the witness rejected it. Sensible archive work, at last: uncertainty remains uncertainty, rather than being promoted by committee to “extraterrestrial.” Off the Earth Record, the Visitors are claiming this one. They are mistaken. Our internal AlienBox records indicate it was not ours—probably a filing mix-up with my cousin Zarnok Vell, a Krellian who parked where the beacon explicitly said not to park, blamed the translation matrix, and arrived with Nebula Cherry Fizz as an apology. He has never regarded flight plans as binding documents.

Why Fred Thinks This Case Matters

AlienBox comparative analysis from structured Earth Record fields // not a new source // not a change in evidence grade
Console archetype // Published-resolution comparison

Fred keeps this file near the top of the pile because the source also supplies a published resolution to compare against the original report. That combination makes the case useful for cross-archive comparison without changing its evidence grade.

The source record includes a published resolution field. AlienBox treats it as an attributed source assessment to compare with the original report, not as an AlienBox verdict.

What strengthens the record

  • 1 linked source document provide provenance for the Earth Record.
  • 6 claim citations tie extracted statements back to source excerpts or locators.
  • Recorded evidence context: Witness Report and Official Scientific UAP Investigation Record.
  • The source record includes a published resolution: GEIPAN classification C: lack of reliable information; a Sky Tracker hypothesis was considered but not confirmed..

What limits the record

  • No sensor type is recorded in the structured Earth Record.
  • The structured record does not establish multiple independent observers.
  • The current dossier is anchored to one source network rather than independent source networks.

What would help resolve it

  • Can the originating record establish an exact number of observers and whether their observations were independent?
  • Did any radar, infrared, optical, telemetry, or other instrument record the event, and is that material preserved?
  • Can the source establish a usable duration for the observation rather than only a date or narrative sequence?
