Information You Provide

If you join the free Clearance list, AlienBox stores the information submitted through that form so the site can manage the subscription and understand where the signup originated. If you use Ask Fred, AlienBox stores the question and Fred response in a session-scoped conversation so the thread can continue. Do not submit sensitive personal information, passwords, private keys, payment-card data, medical records, or other confidential material through public forms or Ask Fred.

Ask Fred Conversations

Ask Fred conversations are associated with a one-way hash derived from the application session rather than a public profile. Conversation history is used to preserve context within that browser session. User questions and prior responses are treated as conversation only and are never promoted into the Earth Record or Fred canon automatically.

Site Operation and Cookies

AlienBox uses ordinary application cookies and session mechanisms needed for security, form protection, conversation continuity, and site operation. These may include session and anti-forgery cookies set by the application framework.

Analytics

AlienBox may use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic, sessions, referrals, content performance, archive searches, Ask Fred submissions, Clearance submissions, Fred audio interactions, support-link activity, and advertising-slot visibility. Analytics is only loaded when enabled by site configuration. The current implementation honors the browser Do Not Track signal when it is set to 1. AlienBox does not intentionally send email addresses, full question text, or payment credentials to Google Analytics.

Advertising and Sponsored Transmissions

AlienBox may display Google AdSense inventory or directly sold sponsorships. Native placements can use AlienBox visual styling but are explicitly labeled ADVERTISEMENT or SPONSORED and are kept separate from citations and factual claims. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their policies. Editorial evidence rankings and Earth Record conclusions are never changed based on advertising economics.

Fred Support Payments

Optional Buy Fred a Drink payments made in Earth currency are processed by Stripe for Orange-Hat, LLC. Stripe handles payment-card and checkout information under Stripe's own privacy and security practices. AlienBox receives limited transaction metadata needed to confirm a support payment and update Fred's public expense ledger; AlienBox does not receive or store full payment-card numbers.

DigiByte Tips

DigiByte tips are direct blockchain transactions to the published AlienBox support address. DigiByte transactions are publicly visible on the DigiByte blockchain by design. A future confirmation monitor may record transaction identifiers and received amounts for Fred's public expense ledger, but AlienBox never needs or requests a sender's private keys or seed phrase.
